Joana Zimmer!!

Also coming from Germany is fantastic pop singer Joana Zimmer.

She's released two albums so far, both of them are amazing examples of pure pop.

Theres no denying she's a great singer but yet hasnt had much success.

She has a new album 'Showtime' out in April/May which is set to be more 70s/80s inspired than previous works though im sure it will still be great as shes never dissapointed yet.

However the song im writing about is from her first album 'My Innermost' released in 2005.

The song 'Got To Be Sure' is a fantastic catchy bubblegum pop song, its fun happy and well worth a listen. Its everything i love about pop music with the no beat first verse building towards that stunning chorus.

Lexington Bridge

Meet 'Lexington Bridge' a new German pop/r&b boyband but with British & American members. Their album 'The Vibe' was released late last year and is actually a surprising good pop masterpiece with the exception of a few boring r&b songs its actually a brilliant example of what N*Sync would be doing now if they were still around and even includes a cover of 'Ola's -Everything I Am'.

The song 'Go On And Go' is an upbeat synth-pop cracker with great vocals and a cool beat.

Its one of those songs you love from the first listen with its brilliant chorus and a song with a synthesizer in means love on first listen usually with me, though dont expect much in the way of synth other than that fantastic chorus.

Its' a mad love baby

Remember the amazing poptastic girlband Play?

Well ex member 'Janet Leon' is embarking on a solo career at last and her debut single 'Mad Love' is quite a fantastic piece of pop. Produced by 'Spicy Dog Productions' (weird name) the song is simple yet amazing, its hardly enough to set the charts alight wherever its released but its rather similar to the sound the girlband had and a nice listen.

Linnéa Handberg

Hailing from Denmark is bubblegum pop princess Linnéa Handberg.
She's perhaps the Denmark version of Britney Spears as her debut album 'This Is Who I Am' is very similar to the typical Max Martin produced pop songs of 1998-2001, im not sure when it was released but it was probably around that time by the sound of the songs as it really is identical to the late 1990s/2000 pop princess/boyband sound which i miss so much.
She's an amazing singer and the entire album is a MUST, im not sure when it was released, i dont think it was too long ago but if it was released ten years ago she would of been a worldwide star her songs are that amazing.

The song 'Everytime' is the typical bubblegum pop amazingness, fun, key-change, very Britney/N*Sync esque, its sounds rather like 'Sometimes' meets 'Its Gonna Be Me' which are two of my favourite songs ever so its hardly a surpirse how much i love this song.
I actually love this album so much ive ran out of words.
But listen to the song and your fall in love with it.

In a world where boybands seem to of been extinct for years you'd be surprised to find in Germany they are still very much alive. Europop boyband 'B3' have released three albums so far, all of them fantastic pop masterpieces. Their music is very much typical of that of Backstreet Boys/N*Sync around 2000 except a little more pop if thats even possible.

The song 'Your My Angel' is a fantastic summer upbeat fun electro-pop anthem, complete with a fantastic keychange its everything pop lovers need. Its extemely catchy and any lover of pop music will instantly be hooked on it. Their music can be brought on just about any countries I-Tunes and if your planning on buying one of their albums the best is their 2nd album 'N.Y.B3' which is filled with stunning pop songs all very much Max Martin sounding stunners.

Threepiece pop/rock band 'Inhabited' hail from Texas and a i was extremely surprised by the quality of their new album 'Love'.

The album is filled with upbeat catchy modern pop songs with a blend of rock and some electro influences.

Highlights of the album include the haunting electro-pop stunner 'I Want To Know' and the fantastic fun 'Hush'.

'Hush' is an amazing pop song with cool beat and extremely catchy chorus, the clapfilled electro verses change into a more punk-pop chorus but the song is a must for even the poppiest of music lover.

Certainly a must hear and those who love great well written catchy pop music with hints of rock the album is a must.

Meet Sandra diAmante

Its amazing how many new Swedish singers ive found recently.

Sandra was born in Malmoe/Sweden.

Mother from Madeira and father from Sweden.
She written her first song at the age of 12 then
graduated from school and started to work with different musicproducers as a songwriter, session singer and artists.
She then started to work with the music producer Svensson and the guitarplayer Conny Bloom.

The song im writing about 'Better Sorry Than Safe' is a simple but beautiful pop song. Its not particulary something to make you go wow on first listen but its a lovely little pop song with a nice key change for the final chorus, from listening to her other songs this is the only one which strikes me as being pure pop as her others have a much more distint soulful/rock or folk sound to them from the look of her myspace http://www.myspace.com/sandradiamante.
